"Mr. Fourth Quarter" didn't emerge at his regularly-scheduled time when he missed a long three for the win at the end of regulation, but Hedo Turkoglu made amends in OT. Turkoglu ran to the right corner on an inbounds play with 8.1 seconds remaining, received the pass from a patient Jose Calderon and drilled a jumper from a step inside the three-point line for the game-winner.

Give credit also to Amir Johnson for his defence on a game-tying drive from Gilbert Arenas. Johnson's self-described "trickery" denied Agent Zero of any foul-inducing contact on his drive and preserved a huge win.

Chris Bosh had a tremendous performance in this one and was a force late. Thirteen of his 31 points and five of his game-high 16 rebounds came after the 5:21 mark of the fourth.

Bosh remains the NBA leader in double-doubles with 17 on the season. Nine of his rebounds on Friday came on the offensive end. He added four assists and two blocks.

It was a second straight solid performance for rookie DeMar DeRozan, who finished with 16 points on six-of-10 shooting, including four free throws made in five attempts.

He may not have seen a ton of minutes in the second half, but he continues to be aggressive in attacking the rim, which has paid off nicely against the Hawks and Wizards. He had an impressive performance against the Bulls in their first matchup so keep an eye on the rookie on Saturday.

A solid start from the starting five really set the tone in this one. They burst out of the gate with a 10-0 run, eventually building a 22-5 lead. That proved crucial as the Raptors proceeded to cough the ball up 17 times the rest of the way.

DeRozan and Calderon were solid early, Bargnani was big in the fourth and Turkoglu and Bosh just seemed to get better the later the game went. The five combined to score 98 of the team's 109 points or roughly 90% of the offence.

"I was very proud of everyone because we played hard minutes. One time we ripped the ball away from them and another time we threw it on the floor and called timeout so we showed really high energy.

We realized that to win a game you have to do all the little things and tonight we did that and more. - Jay Triano
