IT WAS OVER WHEN...

The Raptors had seen their big lead slowly evaporate in the third quarter but late in the quarter, Andrea Bargnani hit a turnaround jumper and then on the next Raptors possession, he found a wide-open Jose Calderon who hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to put the Raptors back up 11 heading to the fourth quarter.

Toronto never looked back as they went on to put up 24 points in the fourth quarter to win their 10th road game of the year.

THE GAME CHANGER

Playing without All-Star Chris Bosh, the Raptors had a balanced attack that saw Jarrett Jack lead the offensive charge with 18 points and 10 assists. All five of the starters reached double-figures including a strong performance by Rasho Nesterovic who finished with a season high 16 points and seven rebounds which ties his season high.

Nesterovic finished his night 8-11 from the field, four assists and one block in 25:33 of action.

THE UNDERRATED RAPTOR

Hedo Turkoglu had a big game for the Raptors in the absence of Chris Bosh. Turkoglu ditched the face mask he had been wearing since before the All-Star break and he put up a strong offensive game.

Not only did he finish the game with 14 points but he also had six rebounds, six assists as he used his good court vision to find his open teammates numerous times.

THAT'S A RAP

"We had seven guys in double figures, seven guys with five field goals each. We needed everyone to step up and we shared the basketball well. We kept moving the ball, guys kept coming to the ball. I didn't see a selfish play today at all. Everybody was looking to help each other and that's why we had so many assists."

- Jay Triano on why his team won without Chris Bosh.

They Said It...
DeMar DeRozan "You just have to go out there and get rebounds and the extra hustle plays. You have to do what needs to be done to win."
- DeMar DeRozan on his hustle
Lionel Hollins "Obviously you have to give them a lot of credit. They shot the ball very very well tonight. They capitalized on any mistake and any double team we made. They made their three pointers. Any time you basically allow 60% shooting for the game you're not going to have much of a chance to win.."
- Nets head coach Kiki Vandeweghe on the loss
Chris Bosh "It was pretty remarkable. I think basketball is a game of rhythm and he hasn't been in the lineup for a while. For him to come in and contribute when his number was called is really unbelievable. It's a testament to him and of course me getting him the ball. (laughing)"
- Jarrett Jack on Rasho Nesterovic stepping up in Chris Bosh's absence
