IT WAS OVER WHEN...

It was pretty much over when Joe Johnson hit a transition three against the Raptors giving the Hawks a 94-76 lead midway in the fourth. Although the Raptors battled back and kept it close, it was not enough to over-come the amount of damage the team took from the Hawks offense earlier in the quarter.

Joe Johnson, Josh Smith and Jamal Crawford all combined for 60 of the Hawks' 107 points in the win.

THE GAME CHANGER

Jamal Crawford placed many daggers into the Raptors throughout the season, and tonight was no different. Crawford went four for seven from beyond the arc, including a four point play on the final shot of the first half.

Crawford finished with a game-high 25 points, adding in five boards and three assists for the Hawks.

THE UNDERRATED RAPTOR

Although he was fairly quiet in the first half, Jose Calderon came out late in the third and throughout the fourth to keep the Raptors within reach of stealing the game.

Calderon responded with frustration to a hostile crowd on Wednesday's loss to the Celtics, as he's been performing below his standards throughout the season. Tonight's performance should give him a boost of confidence going towards the final and most important games of the season.

THAT'S A RAP

"You can’t give this team second chance opportunities. We just didn’t box out, and that was really our downfall. The positive is we did beat this team in three other quarters. We just became too relaxed in the second quarter. Other than that, I think we played pretty hard and fairly well. We have to do all of the little things if we expect to be successful."

- Jay Triano on the tough night in Atlanta.

They Said It...
Jay Triano "The Hawks got a lot of second chance points tonight. We held this team to 40% shooting, but in the second quarter, we unfortunately missed shots, and they made a lot. It’s very rare that you win three quarters and still lose the game."- Jay Triano on the team's loss to the Hawks.
Stan Van Gundy "We had three really tough games this week, but we just have to keep fighting. The goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the season are still within reach...We still control our own destiny, and that’s the light at the end of the tunnel" - Jarrett Jack, on the team's playoff hopes.
Josh Smith "It feels good. When we first started out, the goal was to win 50-plus games and some people laughed. But it didn’t matter, we knew we had the talent in order to make 50-plus wins and we have got to keep pulling them out" - Josh Smith on getting the 50th win of the season.
