This year, the 9th Annual BMO Ladies Summer Swing was hosted at the luxurious Angus Glen Golf Club on Monday, June 2, 2008. The teams were pampered with first-class service the moment they arrived. The day was filled with exceptional cuisine, hole activities, mingling with Leafs Alumni, great gifting for each golfer and, of course, golfing at the famed Angus Glen Golf Club.

Toronto Maple Leafs Matt Stajan, Toronto Raptors Anthony Parker and Maple Leafs Alumni Wendel Clark and Rick Vaive were all present at the event.

All of the proceeds went to support both the Raptors Foundation, which assists organizations that provide access to programs and sports initiatives for at-risk children and youth, and the Leafs Fund, which provides access to sports and recreation opportunities for the children and youth in our community.

Since its inception, Ladies Summer Swing has raised more than $400,000 for local children’s charities.
