Raptors Learn to Dribble: 2013/2014 Season Recap

The Toronto Raptors Learn to Dribble program is a cost free program that visits elementary schools across the GTA. The program reaches out to children ages 7-12, and teaches basketball fundamentals to youth in a fun, non-competitive environment. During each visit, the program incorporates a 1-hour assembly for the entire school lead by the Toronto Raptors Basketball Development team.

Throughout this assembly, our team discusses the importance of the Raptors D.R.E.A.M Theme, which stands for Dedication, Responsibility, Education, Attitude, and Motivation. Additionally, 50 lucky students are selected to participate in a fundamental basketball skills clinic, also led by our highly experienced Raptors Development Team.

Throughout the 2013-14 season, the Learn to Dribble program visited 18 schools across the GTA, reaching over 4000 kids with the Raptors D.R.E.A.M message.

The Raptors will soon be announcing some exciting changes to the Learn to Dribble program for next season! To find out more about our new 4-week basketball program and how to apply on behalf of your school, email us at camps@mlse.com.
