The Raptors Foundation For Kids provides funding to registered charities across Ontario that focus on at-risk children and youth.
The application deadline is January 2010.
When applying for funding, please note the following guidelines:
Funding Guidelines:
The organization must be a registered charity in Ontario in good standing.
The specific program for which funding is requested must target at-risk children and or youth (“at-risk” may refer to social and financial background and or disabilities relating to one’s physical and or mental state).
The funding request is not to exceed $25,000.
Only one program submission is allowed per organization.
A charity can reapply for funding after two years of having received funds from the Raptors Foundation For Kids.
The proposal must be typed – handwritten documents will not be accepted.
Areas of Interest:
Arts, culture and heritage.
Basketball development.
Education, literacy and technology.
Native issues.
Social services and community development.
Sports and recreation.
Exclusions – Raptors Foundation For Kids does not typically provide funding for the following:
General operating expenses including staff salaries.
Capital requests for building and/or major improvements.
Grants to individuals.
Endowment campaigns.
Research projects.
Multi-year projects.
Political parties, candidates, or partisan political activity.
Government agencies (includes Board of Education).
Religious organizations for religious activities.
