Thanks to a 102-76 victory
in Game 4 on Monday, the Mavericks made sure the Grizzlies will wait at least one more year to earn the franchise's first playoff victory. Dallas led by just three points at the end of the first quarter before rolling the rest of the way, completing the series sweep by outscoring Memphis 54-37 in the second half. Dirk Nowitzki -- coming off his clutch performance in Game 3 -- led the Mavs witth 27 points, while Josh Howard added 24 and nine rebounds. Pau Gasol did all he could for the Grizzlies, scoring a team-high 25 and grabbing six boards. This year's Sixth Man Award winner, Mike Miller, was the only other man in double figures for Memphis; he scored 10 points. Dallas awaits the winner of the Kings-Spurs series, which is tied at two games apiece.
