The Timberwolves staved off a Denver rally to win
102-91 Friday and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals for the first time in franchise history. Kevin Garnett posted 28 points, Sam Cassell notched 26 and Latrell Sprewell finished with 19. Minnesota will host Sacramento on Tuesday in Game 1 (TNT).
