Lakers Dethrone Defending Champions
Kobe Bryant dropped in 12 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and Shaquille O'Neal scored 17 and grabbed 19 boards Saturday to lead the Lakers to a series-ending 88-76 win over the Spurs in Game 6. Los Angeles, which is just the eighth team in NBA history to win a playoff series after trailing 0-2, will play the Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.
