Pistons Complete Series Comeback
The Pistons became the first team since the 1996-97 Knicks to erase a 3-1 series deficit, as Detroit advanced to the semifinals with a 108-93 win over Orlando on Sunday. Detroit outscored the Magic 27-18 in the third quarter to take control of Game 7.

Wallace Named Top Defensive Player
On April 23, Detroit forward Ben Wallace was named the 2002-03 Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the sixth player in NBA history to win the award in consecutive seasons. Averaging 15.4 rebounds, 3.15 blocks and 1.42 steals per game, Wallace joins Sidney Moncrief, Dennis Rodman, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutombo and Alonzo Mourning as the league’s only back-to-back winners.
