Eligibility: Budweiser Road to the NBA Finals 2003 Game ("Promotion") open to legal residents of the United States (other than residents of CA), who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry ("Participants"). Employees of NBA Media Ventures, LLC ("Sponsor"), NBA Properties, Inc., the NBA and its member teams, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, distributors, alcoholic beverage wholesalers, retailers, advertising/promotion agencies and Project Support Team, Inc. ("PST") (collectively "Released Parties") and the immediate family members and those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win.

Promotion Period: The Promotion starts on 4/17/03 at 3:00:01AM Eastern Time ("ET") upon determination of the NBA Playoffs 2003 First Round matchups and the Promotion ends following the conclusion of the final game of the NBA Finals 2003 ("Promotion Period"). A list of participating games for each respective round of the Promotion Period will be posted online at www.nba.com/playoffs2003/bracket/game.jsp and updated throughout the NBA Playoffs. See Game Play section below for additional details.

To Participate:

(1) Visit www.nba.com during the Promotion Period. If you are a registered member of NBA.com, you may immediately link to the Game Play page using your previously designated user name and password from www.nba.com to participate in the Promotion. If you are not a registered member of NBA.com, you must register before participating in this Promotion. Registration is free. To register, complete the NBA User Registration form according to the instructions provided. As part of the registration process, you will be asked if you wish to receive promotional e-mails. Consenting to receive promotional e-mails is optional and is not required for membership or participation in this Promotion. Upon completion of the registration process, you may link to the Game Play page using your newly designated user name and password from www.nba.com to participate in the Promotion. Limit one NBA User Registration form submission per e-mail address for the duration of the Promotion Period. Additional registration forms received from any such e-mail address thereafter will be void. The use of any device to automate the registration process is prohibited. Registration form submissions will be accepted throughout the Promotion Period, in accordance with the terms of these Official Rules.

(2) Visit the Game Play page, click on the "Play Now" button and follow the listed instructions. A NBA Playoffs 2003 bracket will be displayed reflecting all teams participating in the NBA Playoffs 2003. For the purpose of this Promotion, the NBA Playoffs 2003 bracket will feature a total of (15) NBA Team matchups (each a "series") and a total of (4) phases of the NBA Playoffs 2003: NBA First Round, NBA Conference Semifinals, NBA Conference Finals and NBA Finals inclusive (each a "round"). See below for additional details.

(3) Using knowledge of NBA teams and NBA players' skills and statistics, predict the NBA Team(s) that will win each series based on the instructions provided.

(4) Predict the total number of games each best of seven series will last.

(5) Predict the NBA Player who will be named the highest scorer (i.e. the individual NBA player who had the most cumulative points for the entire series) for each series based on the total number of points accumulated rather than the average number of points scored. In the event two or more NBA Players in any particular series are named the highest scorer, the high scorer for the purpose of this Promotion will be deemed the NBA player (from among tied players) who accumulated the most points in the final game of said series. If a tie still exists, the tie-breaker will default to the previous game, and so forth.

(6) Bracket predictions can be submitted/modified for any NBA Playoffs 2003 Game(s) that have not yet begun in accordance with the posted deadlines ("Unlocked"). Participant's last predictions that are received by the applicable deadline will be used to tabulate his/her Road to the Finals Points for the applicable series for which those predictions are made. Bracket predictions cannot be submitted/modified for any series already in progress or already completed ("Locked"). Participation in the Promotion will be locked on 6/4/03 at 9:00:01PM ET prior to the commencement of Game 1 in the NBA Finals 2003.

(7) Click on the "Update Picks" button by the applicable deadline.

(8) Participants will receive one entry in the Grand Prize drawing when they participate in the Promotion and complete, for the first time, Steps 1-7 in their entirety as outlined above for one NBA Playoffs series according to the instructions provided. Your predictions need not be correct to be entered in the Grand Prize drawing and correctly predicting will not increase your odds of winning the Grand Prize drawing. All eligible entries will have an equal chance of winning the Grand Prize. Limit one Grand Prize entry per Participant for the duration of the Promotion Period regardless of the total number of predictions made for subsequent series during the Promotion Period.

(9) All predictions must be accepted and acknowledged by the computer servers by the applicable deadline to be considered valid and eligible.

There is a limit of one prediction (as detailed above) per series per Participant.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, incomplete, late or misdirected entries, predictions or submissions; theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; failures or malfunctions of phones, phonelines or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to Participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion; errors in these Official Rules, in any promotion-related advertisements or other materials; the selection or announcement of winners or the distribution of prizes; the cancellation, suspension or preemption of games, injuries or other unavailability of players, scoring tabulation or timing errors or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise.

2003 NBA Playoff Bracket Series & Rounds: An overview of the NBA Playoffs 2003 bracket is shown in the table below, along with the number of teams playing in each round, the number of series in each applicable round, and the earliest possible start date for each round.

Scoring: Each Participant's Road to the Finals Round Prize score in the Promotion relative to other Participants will be determined by the number of Road to the Finals Points that he/she accumulates during each respective round based on his/her predictions for the applicable round's series denoted above. Road to the Finals Points for each applicable Round will not carry forward to subsequent rounds. Each Participant's Road to the Finals Round score will be tabulated as follows for each participating round denoted above:

(5) NBA Road to the Finals Points: For correctly predicting the winning team in any series
(3) NBA Road to the Finals Points: For correctly predicting the number of games in any series
(2) NBA Road to the Finals Points: For correctly predicting the highest scorer in any series
Awarding of NBA Road to the Finals Points is subject to compliance with these Official Rules.

Round Prize Winners & Grand Prize Winner Selection/Notification: A.) (1) Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about 6/27/03 from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period (as more fully set forth in (8) above). Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. B.) (40) Round Prizes/(10) Round Prizes Per Round: Round Prize winners will be determined following the conclusion of each round of the NBA Playoffs 2003 and (10) prizes per round will be awarded to the Participants who accumulated the highest number of Road to the Finals Points for the applicable round as further described above. In the event that a tie between or among Round Prize Participants results in more than one Participant having the 10th best score, a random drawing from among the pool of tied Participants will be conducted to award the number of remaining Round Prizes for that round. In the event that any game in the NBA Playoffs 2003 series is canceled, suspended (and not resumed) or preempted (and not resumed) for any reason, the respective prizes for the Round applicable to the cancellation, suspension or preemption will be awarded in a random drawing from among all Participants entered in the Grand Prize drawing. Prizes will be awarded to the person named on the applicable NBA User Registration regardless of whether that is the name of the authorized account holder of the e-mail address from which said NBA User Registration was submitted (subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules).

Grand Prize winner selection, the tabulation of NBA Road to the Finals Points and identification of potential Round Prize winners will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding with respect to these Official Rules and in all other matters relating to this Promotion. Winners will be notified by email, phone or mail as necessary throughout the Promotion Period.

Prizes: (1) Grand Prize: A 3-day/2-night trip for two to one NBA Finals 2004 game designated by Sponsor consisting of round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest to winner's residence in the U.S. to the city of game location, standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations, ground transportation to/from the airport and the applicable hotel, and two tickets to the game (Approximate Retail Value "ARV"=$2,280). Travel and accommodation restrictions apply. Travel and hotel arrangements to be determined by Sponsor. Trip must be taken on dates and times designated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. If NBA Finals 2004 game is canceled or postponed for any reason, travel prize will be awarded less tickets to game which Sponsor will substitute with an item(s)/activity(s) of equal or greater value as determined solely by Sponsor. Exact seat locations to be determined by Sponsor. (40) Round Prizes/(10) Prizes Per Round: Budweiser Two-Way Radio and an NBA T-Shirt (size awarded to be determined solely by Sponsor) (ARV=$68). Total ARV of all prizes=$5,000.

Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prizes (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability and then for a prize (or applicable portion thereof) of equal or greater value. Federal, state, and local taxes and all other costs and expenses not specified herein are the winners' sole responsibility. Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release within 5 days of issuance of notification. Grand Prize winner's traveling companion (who must be 21 years of age of older) will also be required to sign and return a Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release prior to the issuance of travel documents. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner at Sponsor's sole discretion. If any prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companion agree to comply with all NBA and team arena rules and regulations relating to the use of NBA game tickets and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at such game. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to: 1.) disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, the operation of nba.com, or any other component of this Promotion, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules and 2.) modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, including but not limited to war, strikes, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Promotion and, in the event of termination or suspension, at its discretion, award Grand Prize in a drawing from among eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the event requiring such termination or suspension and award Round Prizes from among highest eligible non-suspect scorers in any completed round and at random from eligible non-suspect Participants in any round not completed prior to such event. By participating, Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1.) Released Parties and their designees and assigns may use (unless prohibited by law) such Participant's name, city, state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for the purpose of posting their name and Road to the Finals Point Total on NBA.com or on any NBA telecast and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification and 2.) Released Parties and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury to Participant or any other person or death or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize and any travel or prize activities related thereto or participation in this Promotion.
