NEW YORK, May 1 -- Charlotte Hornets center Jamaal Magloire has been suspended for one game without pay and fined $7,500 for his flagrant foul-penalty (2) against Orlando Magic forward Tracy McGrady.

The incident occurred with 5:30 remaining in the fourth period of the Hornets' 102-85 victory over the Magic in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first-round series on April 30.

Magloire will miss Game 1 of the Hornets' second-round series against either the New Jersey Nets or Indiana Pacers.
