With four days to rest before Game 2 in Boston on Thursday (8 p.m. ET, TNT), Snow had some time to answer fan e-mails.
First, I would just like to say that you are a huge asset to
the Sixers and you are my favorite player, next to Iverson. My question
is how do you plan to keep the Sixers focused and motivated throughout
the playoffs? You do an excellent job during the regular season, and I
believe you can get them through the playoffs and right back into the
Finals.
Laura
Long Island, NY
Snow: Basically, we have to understand the goals at hand. Take it one game at a time. Understand what we need to do to win games and get better. Make the necessary adjustments we need to make both mentally and physically.
What do you think will help the Sixers overcome all their injuries?
Lauren
Landsdowne, Pa.
Snow: Everyone has to be as smart as they can and get their rest and at the same time, just keep it real simple and play our game. Whatever five guys are out there, try to play as hard as they can, play the right way because it has to be done collectively.
I would first like to say that you are truely a role model,
and I admire what you are doing in the community with the father and son
activities. I would like to know if Allen Iverson's return will affect
how
the whole team has been playing? Although I love Allen Iverson, I
love to see you guys play the way you have been playing in his absence --
it seems as if everyone is a unit.
Tara
Bristol, Pa.
Snow: It shouldn't. We should benefit from it because he attracts so much attention. It should make it easier. I think guys can't get complacent with his return, so I think the team needs to be aggressive and make things happen to benefit the team.
What is your relationship with your team and Allen Iverson off
the court?
Jeff
Elmira, NY
Snow: It is great. We all get along, but we don't all hang out. Each guy goes his own separate way because everybody has families, has agendas, but we have a great relationship on and off the court.
What do you feel it would take for your team to make it back
to the NBA Finals!!!!!
PS: Win or lose, you are always winners to me (#1 fan)
Kathleen
Philadelphia
Snow: I think we have to be an excellent defensive team, execute on offense and play harder than everybody we play.
What do you think needs to be done in order to stop Pierce and the
deadly
three-point shooting Celtics? It looked as though the Celtics really
took
the big guys out of Game 1. How are you guys going to get Mutumbo and
D.C. more involved in Game 2?
James
Nampa, Idaho
Snow: I think if we can get easier baskets, dibble penetrate and try to get guys to help, we can them the ball down low and also give them a chance to offensive rebound. As far as Pierce, I think we need to give early help and try to limit their touches. The fewer times they touch it the fewer chances they get to score.
Hello there. What do you see as the most important things you
need to do, to win the series from the Celtics?
Ville
Kotka, Finland
Snow: I think we need to make them work defensively, get them out of their zone. We need to get some easier baskets. Because they are in a zone, we can make them play and hurt them with offensive rebounds.
I love to watch you guys play, I believe you guys can make it all the way.
Do you guys listen to sports radio and all the comments from fans and
critics, or do you just listen to music, instead?
In the team's downtime together, who is the funniest? Who is all
business?
Trisha
Spring City, Pa.
Snow: I don't listen to sports talk radio. Allen is the funniest. Most guys would say that myself, or Derrick McKey or Dikembe are all business.
