Bibby
Mike Bibby was the final piece in the Kings puzzle that led to the league's best record this year, coming over in a trade with the Grizzlies for Jason Williams. Now he's been the key piece in Sacramento's run to the Western Conference Finals. He averaged 14.0 points and 3.8 assists in the first round against the Jazz and then exploded for 21.8 points and 6.8 assists in five games against the Mavericks. Bibby has scored at least 20 points in the last four games and had 29 points and nine assists in the Kings' Game 3 win in Dallas.

After practice on Wednesday, Bibby answered a selection of fan e-mail.

How do you feel about your first playoff appearance? Do you feel nervous or relaxed being in the playoffs?
Brian
Staten Island, NY

Bibby: I was nervous and excited at the same time. I’ve never been in that situation before in the NBA, so it was something that I loved going though.

How do you stay so steady and cool in big games? What goes through your mind?
Jackson
Rancho Murieta, Calif.

Bibby: I just try to stay positive and realize that not everybody is perfect. My goal is to just keep it simple and go out and play basketball.

In the series with the Mavericks what was the equalizer for all the big men that Dallas has on the team?
Dale
Kissimmee, Fla.

Bibby: Our big men played great. We had mismatches inside and we took advantage of them. Vlade and Chris played awesome, and Dallas had a hard time stopping them.

What is the biggest difference between high school/college playoffs and the NBA playoffs?
Kriss
Glen Head, NY

Bibby: There are just more people and the games are a lot more intense. The stage is a lot bigger and the stakes are higher.

With playoff pressure kicking in, what do you do on your days off besides practicing? And are your daily activities affected if you win or lose a game?
Venetia
Seattle

Bibby: I hang with my kids and my family and play video games. I just really relax. I might be little bit more upset after a loss, but that’s about it.

I really like the way you are bringing the real Kings out. You're a real leader. I have faith that you will beat the Lakers with no problem. Anyway where did you learn how to handle the ball like that?
Matthew
Brooklyn, NY

Bibby: I’ve just been practicing since I was a kid. I just love to play all the time, and so I learned how handle the ball pretty good.

How did you feel when you came over from the Grizzlies to the Kings?
Sean
Winter Park, Fla.

Bibby: I felt really good. I was just anxious to get going so that I could prove myself, and I was excited to be on a winning team.
