COLLEGE:
Four-year performer at Duke University, where he compiled career averages of 4.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 135 games (57 starts)… Posted 19 career games with 10+ points, 18 games with 10+ rebounds and seven career doubledoubles… A captain for Duke as a senior in 2011-12, averaged 6.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 20.5 minutes per game in 34 contests (16 starts)… Named to the All-ACC Tournament second team after averaging 8.7 points and 6.7 rebounds to help Duke win the tourney as a junior in 2010-11… Helped the Blue Devils to an NCAA Championship in 2010, averaging 5.2 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting .561 from the field and starting the first 24 games of the season… First reserve off the bench in the season’s final 16 games, including the national championship against Butler where he had three rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in nine scoreless minutes.

PERSONAL:
Born Miles Christian Plumlee on Sept. 1, 1988 in Fort Wayne, Ind. … In 2011-12, he was joined at Duke by his younger brothers, Mason and Marshall, and the Plumlees were the third Division I brother trio to play on the same team, joining the Brennans (Matthew, Thomas & William) at Villanova in 1957-58 and the Bockhorns (Bucky, Harold & Terry) at Dayton in 1957-58... Brother, Mason, a 2013 first round draft pick (22nd overall) of the Brooklyn Nets… In addition to his two brothers at Duke, his mother, Leslie, played basketball at Purdue and his father, Perky, played at Tennessee Tech... His maternal grandfather, Albert Schultz, played at Michigan Tech before joining the Army... His uncle William Schultz played at Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his uncle Chad Schultz played at Wisconsin- Oshkosh... He was active in Duke’s award-winning “Read with the Blue Devils” program... He competed in the high jump in high school and, as a senior, he finished second in the North Carolina state meet with a school record 6’9”... He played two years at Warsaw (Ind.)
