Began playing basketball professionally in his native Spain with Unicaja Malaga during the 2011-12 season. The following year, signed with FC Barcelona and played four seasons there. Named EuroLeague’s Rising Star concluding the 2015-16 season. In the same year, received All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention honors. As a member of the Spanish National Team, won a gold medal at the 2011 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, a bronze medal at the 2012 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, and a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER
Appeared in 230 games and averaged 7.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 16.9 minutes.
2015-16: Appeared in 52 games with FC Barcelona and averaged 9.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.7 steals in 19.6 minutes. Made the Spanish National Team. Liga Endesa Finalist and Supercup Winner.
2014-15: Appeared in 50 games with FC Barcelona and averaged 8.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.7 steals in 18.7 minutes. Made the Spanish National Team. Spanish Cup Finalist. Liga Endesa Champion. Played in six games during the World Cup in Spain.
2013-14: Appeared in 59 games with FC Barcelona and averaged 7.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists in18.1 minutes. Made the Spanish National Under-20 team for the second year and led team to the Euroleague Final Four and Spanish ACB Finals.
2012-13: Appeared in 45 games with FC Barcelona and averaged 4.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 11.0 minutes. Made the Spanish National Under-20 Team and appeared in six European Championship Under-20 games in Slovenia.
2011-12: Appeared in 24 games with Unicaja Malaga and averaged 4.2 points and 1.5 assists in 15.2 minutes. Made the Spanish National Under-18 Team and led that team to the Spanish Under-18 Championship Semifinals and European Under-18 Championship Finals.
