BACKGROUND

2004-05:
Appeared in 33 games with averages of 3.2 points, 0.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes… In five starts, averaged 4.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21.4 minutes… Scored a season and career-high 10 points at Portland on Feb. 4 and against Miami on Feb. 11… Played a season and career-high 30 minutes against Chicago on Feb. 26… Placed on the injured list at the start of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Nov. 8 to repair damaged cartilage… Had two other stints on the injured list from Jan. 11-30 and again on March 23 through the end of the season.

PRO CAREER:
Played more than any other rookie for Memphis during the 2003-04 season, after missing 53 games on the injured list with right knee tendinitis… Averaged 2.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 8.9 minutes… Played in 19 of the team’s final 23 games during the Grizzlies playoff position run… In a season-high 18 minutes, scored six points with six rebounds against Indiana on March 20… Recorded a season-high seven points and five rebounds against Seattle on March 19… Registered his top game of the year with season-highs of seven points and six rebounds in 13 minutes at the Clippers on March 6… Made his NBA debut on Nov. 8 at Utah and did not see action again until March 3 at Portland due to a knee injury… Was not added to the Grizzlies playoff roster.

COLLEGE:
Ranks fourth in Ball State history with 882 career rebounds and is seventh with 1,599 career points… Played only three games of his senior season due to right knee tendinitis but as a junior was selected to All Mid-American Conference First Team, NABC All-District First Team and MAC All-Tournament Team… Led MAC with 23 double-doubles and ranked second in the nation behind Kansas’ Drew Gooden… Was one of only two MAC players who averaged a double-double… Led the MAC conference with 10.9 rebounds and eighth in the NCAA and ranked third in the league with 19.6 points… Scored 29 points and pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds against IUPU-Fort Wayne… Was an All-MAC Second Team pick as a sophomore when he averaged 16.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in 33.5 minutes… Scored a career-high 40 points against Texas Tech as a sophomore… Won MAC Freshman of the Year honors after he averaged 12.2 points and 7.6 rebounds.
