    Started all 31 games for Georgia Tech his freshman season, scoring a team-high tying 14.4 points per game while adding averages of 4.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.29 steals in 29.6 minutes per game… Shot 47.8% from the floor, 41.9% from 3-point range and 74.3% from the line… Knocked down 39 three-pointers, including four games with three or more 3FGM… Almost had as many offensive rebounds (72) as defensive (79)… Recorded four point-rebound double-doubles… Scored 20+ points six times, including a career-high 30 in a double-overtime game vs. Wake Forest in the first round of the ACC Tournament… In the five games leading up to the NCAA Tournament, averaged 19.4 points on 50.0% shooting.

  • As a senior, averaged 26.9 points, 13.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 4.3 steals and 3.6 blocks while leading Mitchell High School to the Class AA State Championship Game
  • Was a member of the National Honors Society in high school
  • Dating back to the 1996 NBA Draft, is one of five Georgia Tech players to leave for the NBA following their freshman seasons (Stephon Marbury in 1996, Dion Glover in 1999, Chris Bosh in 2003 and Javaris Crittenton in 2007)
