Averaged 18.2 points and 8.6 rebounds with Houston at the 2012 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, finishing tied for sixth in the league in rebounds per game and 15th in scoring … led the Rockets with 24 points (11-20 FG) and 12 rebounds (7 offensive) in a 99-88 win over Portland (7/17/12).


In College
An early entry candidate for the 2012 NBA Draft, averaged 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 76 games (69 starts) over his two seasons at Kentucky … was one of just six players in UK history to record 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 140 blocks in a career … as a sophomore, helped the Wildcats win the 2012 National Championship, while earning Second-Team All-SEC honors … in 2010-11, was selected SEC Freshman of the Year, First-Team All-SEC and was a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team … averaged 15.7 points and 8.8 rebounds as a freshman, leading the SEC in rebounding average and double-doubles (11), as well as ranking sixth in scoring and blocks per game (1.9 bpg).

Born Terrence Alexander Jones on Jan. 9, 1992, in Portland, Oregon … the most proud he is of his basketball career is making his mother, Linda, proud of him … cousin of former Arizona All-American and NBA Rookie of the Year Damon Stoudamire … was a McDonald’s All-American out of Jefferson High School (Portland, OR) … played high school basketball with Terrence Ross (Toronto Raptors) … averaged 30.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists as a senior, leading Jefferson High to its third consecutive State Championship, which is a feat no other 5A or 6A Oregon school had ever accomplished … one of only three players to twice be named The Oregonian Class 5A Player of the Year (others: UCLA’s Kevin Love and Oregon’s Fred Jones) … also played quarterback and wide receiver in football … enjoys playing ping pong and video games … favorite athlete while growing up was Magic Johnson.
