2008-09:
After logging a total of 58 games in his first three NBA seasons combined (and no more than 22 in any of those campaigns), he saw action in 52 games in 2008-09…he drew DNP-CDs in each of the Pacers' first six games, and played in just 15 of the first 32 contests…in those first 15 appearances, he scored a total of 67 points (4.5 ppg) with three games in double figures…in his regular season debut at New Jersey, 11/12, he scored 12 points on 2-2 3-pt FGS and 6-6 FTS…that was the first of three games in double figures in his first 16 appearances…beginning with a career-high tying 16 points at Denver, 1/5, he scored 10+ points in a career-high four straight games…in those four games, he shot 21-40 from the floor and averaged 12.5 ppg…from that point on he scored in double figures just four more times with a high of 14 points twice…in the season finale vs. Milwaukee, 4/15, he tallied 11 points on 4-8 from the floor and 3-3 from 3-pt range…he started the season shooting just 26-68 from the floor (.382) in his first 16 games, but then got really hot…in his next 13 games (1/5 to 1/28), he shot 44-83 FGS (.530) and averaged 8.2 ppg…however, in his last 23 games he averaged less than five points a game (4.5) and shot just 36-105 (.343)…after going 7-14 from 3-pt range in his first season with the Pacers, and 12-35 (.343) in his first three NBA seasons, he canned 20-66 from long distance in 2008-09…his three 3-pt field goals in the season finale vs. Milwaukee tied his career-high and represented one of his five games with multiple 3-pt field goals made…after hitting 2-2 from long distance in his debut against the Nets, 11/12, he made just 2-13 in his next 15 appearance…in the last 14 games of January, he shot 7-13 3-pt FGS, including 2-2 from 3-pt range in games at New Orleans, 1/19, and vs. New York, 1/31…he totaled 24 rebounds in his first 16 appearances, but then claimed 12 boards in the first two games of the Pacers' west coast road trip: at Denver, 1/5, and at Phoenix, 1/7…as a starter against the Suns, he collected a career-high seven boards to go along with 13 points and three assists…beginning with the game vs. Golden State, 12/17, he had at least one rebound in 22 straight appearances and averaged 2.7 rpg in that span…in those 22 games, he had three or more rebounds 10 times, and five or more boards five times…he started six games in 2008-09, his first starts for the Pacers and his first NBA starts since one for Portland in 2006-07…in his first two starts he struggled from the floor, hitting just 4-17 and totaling nine points…in his four remaining starts, he shot 24-40 FGS and averaged 9.8 ppg with three games in double figures…as a starter, he averaged 3.3 rpg…including a career-high three on three separate occasions, he handed out 33 assists in 2008-09, which was 12 more than he had passed out in his first three NBA seasons combined…after having totaled four assists in his first 13 appearances, he registered a career-best three as a starter at Philadelphia, 12/20…that was one of 10 games with multiple assists and it was the first of his three games with three assists….matching his total for his first three NBA seasons, he had four blocked shots in 2008-09…while he sat out 30 games, he was one of only two players on the Pacers' roster that did not make an appearance on the inactive list in 2008-09.
2007-08:
He made just three appearances in the season's first 40 games, but then played in 16 of the next 27 games with four games in which he logged double-digit minutes...in all, he played in 22 games and averaged 4.0 ppg with 1.0 rpg...he shot a team-high 58.6 percent from the floor (34-58) and made half his 3-pt attempts (7-14)…in his first appearance for the Pacers, he scored four points on 2-2 FGS in just two minutes at Memphis, 11/3...making his first appearance in 14 games, he connected on his first 3-pt attempt of the season and tallied seven points (3-4 FGS) at Cleveland, 12/11...following 19 straight games on the sidelines (12/12-1/16), he had one of the best games of his career vs. the Sacramento Kings, 1/19…in that game, he connected on 7-11 FGS and 1-3 3-pt FGS for 15 points…he also had his first steal of the season against the Kings...he saw action in seven of the next 17 games and totaled 16 points on 6-12 FGS, 1-3 3-pt FGS and 3-4 FTS...then he had, arguably, the best game of his NBA career against his twin brother Joey's team, the Toronto Raptors...in 21 minutes at Toronto, 2/29, he helped lift the Pacers to a 122-111 win with a career-high, and bench-leading, 16 points on 4-7 FGS, 1-2 3-pt FGS and a career-best 7-7 FTS. He added a season-high six rebounds, two assists and a steal...that game at Toronto was the first of his career with more than one assist and he had two assists two more times the rest of the season--at Cleveland, 3/8, and at Dallas, 3/14...beginning with that game against the Raptors, he averaged 9.3 ppg in a four-game span and in that stretch shot 12-18 FGS and 4-5 3-pt FGS...his nine points at Houston, 3/5, came on 3-3 from beyond the 3-pt arc...in the ensuing game at San Antonio, 3/6, he scored eight points on 3-3 FGS and 2-4 FTS. Against the Spurs, he added four rebounds, including a season-high two offensive boards…that was his last outing with double-digit minutes…in his last seven games, he totaled eight points (4-11 FGS), four rebounds, one steal, one assist, a blocked shot and 28 minutes.
2006-07:
Before being waived in January, he played 14 games for the Portland Trail Blazers...he averaged 3.2 ppg and 1.5 rpg...in just his third appearance for the Blazers, he scored 11 points on 3-6 FGS, 1-2 3-pt FGS and 4-4 FTS, adding three offensive rebounds and a steal in 21 minutes vs. the L.A. Lakers, 11/8...less than a week later, he came off the bench to log 31 minutes at Minnesota, 11/14...against the Timberwolves, he had nine points (4-10 FGS, 1-1 FT) and a career-high eight rebounds...that was his only game with more than three rebounds in 2006-07 and the effort earned him the first start of his NBA career the next night in Cleveland, where he scored four points (2-3 FG), hauled in a rebound and gathered a career-high tying two steals in 14 minutes of a 100-87 loss...he made appearances in 10 of the Trail Blazers’ first 12 games, logging double-digit minutes in nine of those outings and scoring at least four points five times...however, he would play in just four more games the rest of the season, totaling five points and three rebounds...in his last outing with 10+ minutes, he had six points (2-3 FGS, 2-2 FTS), three rebounds and a steal in 17 minutes vs. San Antonio, 11/20...after being released by the Trail Blazers, he returned to his first pro team in Sioux Falls...in 32 NBDL games, he was 12th in the league in scoring with an average of 18.0 ppg and tied for 10th with a free throw percentage of 86.4 percent...he scored in double figures in 31 of his 32 appearances for the Skyforce, including a career-high 43 points vs. Colorado, 3/31...that was one of his 12 games with 20+ points during the season...after scoring just six points on 2-8 FGS and 2-2 FTS vs. the Arkansas RimRockers, 1/20, he scored 10+ points in 26 straight games to finish the season...in leading Sioux Falls to the Semifinals of the NBDL Playoffs, he scored a total of 55 points in two games...in the Skyforce’s opening game vs. Ft. Worth, 4/17, he scored 40 points and was one of just two players to hit the 40-point mark in the 2007 NBDL postseason.
2005-06:
Not drafted by an NBA team in 2005, he signed with the San Antonio Spurs, but was released just prior to the start of the regular season...after being released by the Spurs, he logged 16 games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the CBA, where he averaged 21.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 4.3 apg...including 13-21 (.619) from 3-pt range, he shot nearly 58 percent from the floor for the Skyforce...as a rookie he also played a total of 22 games in the NBA between the Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers...in those NBA games, he averaged 2.6 ppg and 1.2 rpg...in his NBA debut for the Rockets, 12/11, he played just one minute at Portland, but scored four points on 1-1 FG and 2-2 FTS...following his release by the Rockets, he signed with Chicago, where he made appearances in three games...he played a total of 20 minutes for the Bulls, scoring five points...all of his five points for Chicago came during a nine-minute stint vs. Houston, 1/20...against the Rockets, he shot 1-3 3-pt FGS and 2-2 FTS...he had his most success playing 13 games for Cleveland, where he averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.3 rpg...his 36 points for Cleveland included 8-9 FTS.
COLLEGE
He played for Oklahoma State during the 2003-04 season and the 2004-05 seasons after sitting out the 2002-03 campaign as a transfer from Central Florida...during his senior season (2004-05) at Oklahoma State, he appeared in 33 games, averaging 6.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 1.1 apg in 17.9 mpg...he shot 48.3 percent from the field, 72.5 percent from the line and 45.5 percent from behind the 3-pt arc...during his junior year he and his twin brother, Joey, teamed with Tony Allen (now of the Boston Celtics) to lead the Cowboys to the 2004 NCAA Final Four...in 34 games as a junior, he averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.4 rpg, he shot 50.0 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the line...he averaged 12.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg and 2.8 apg as a sophomore at Central Florida.
