Played in 54 games (zero starts)…averaged 5.4 points on .455 shooting and 3.3 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game…scored a season-high 17 points on 6-8 (.750) shooting, to go along with four rebounds in 25 minutes at Detroit on Dec. 28…scored 15 points on 7-10 (.700) shooting and added five rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes at Miami on Jan. 24…grabbed a season-high and career-high tying 10 rebounds and scored 10 points to record his only double-double of the season in a season-high 29 minutes at Indiana on April 13…scored 10 or more points 10 times on the season, shooting .500 or better from the field in nine of those 10 games…led the team in scoring twice, rebounds four times, steals four times and blocks 12 times…was DNP-CD 11 times and was placed on the Inactive List once this season.

Played two seasons at Louisville, starting all 70 games he appeared in…averaged 13.5 points on .549 shooting, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 27.1 minutes per game…as a sophomore in 2009-10 season, led Louisville in scoring (15.3) and rebounding (7.0)…also averaged 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks in 29.3 minutes per game…selected to the All-BIG EAST third team following his sophomore season…scored a career-best 36 points on 10-19 (.526) shooting on Feb. 17 versus Notre Dame…topped the 20-point mark on five occasions and grabbed 10 or more rebounds six times during the 2009-10 season…as a freshman, averaged 11.8 points on .578 shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 25.1 minutes per game in 37 games (all starts)…finished seventh in field goal percentage (.578) and 11th in blocked shots (1.3) in the Big East as a freshman in 2008-09 season…his 51 dunks were the second-most ever in a single season at Louisville behind Pervis Ellison’s school record of 59 in 1987-88…named BIG EAST Conference Rookie of the Week on four occasions…totaled 22 points, seven rebounds and a season-high five assists against Providence in the BIG EAST Tournament quarterfinals…scored in double figures on 24 occasions, including 10 of the final 15 games…scored 24 points on 9-10 (.900) shooting against South Alabama in the Minardi Classic championship game…scored 18 points against Morehead State in just 23 minutes in his Louisville debut, the third-highest point total by a Louisville freshman in their debut…shared preseason Rookie of the Year honors in the BIG EAST Conference with former Georgetown forward/center Greg Monroe.
