- Is an avid NASCAR fan
- He and his wife Tisa have two children, Roddreka and Rydeiah
- His older brother Stacy won a gold medal in the 1981 World Games for the Deaf
Resides in Durham, North Carolina in the offseaon and owns RRR Trucking Inc.He is one of seven truck drivers for the company and gained an interest while riding with his father as a boyAlso interested in Durham real estate ventures
