    2003-04:
    Saw action in all 82 game with 11 starts, after missing the entire 2002-03 season due to knee surgery… Averaged 7.0 points, 3.7 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 19.7 minutes per games…finished the season first in the league among all rookies in free throw percentage (.868), fifth in assists, eighth in field goal percentage (.429) and 11th in scoring...Scored a career-high 25 points (7-11, 3-5, 8-10) in the season finale vs. Phoenix on April 14, 2004…Scored his previous career-high with 18 points vs. Milwaukee on November 21, 2003 (6-10, 2-4, 4-4) and for the season, scored in double figures 20 times…Served up a career-high 10 assists twice (at Philadelphia on December 29 and vs. New Orleans on March 31) and had four games with nine…Pulled down a career-high nine rebounds vs. New York on December 10 and nearly missed his first career triple-double with 12 points, nine rebounds and nine assists…Recorded a career-high four steals at Orlando on February 18 and played a career-high 36 minutes at Houston on December 3, when he scored 16 points (5-7, 6-7), with nine assists and five rebounds…Made his first career start in the second game of the season at Dallas on November 1 with Arroyo out with a sprained ankle.

    2002-03:
    Missed the enitre season after surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee...Suffered the injury prior to playing for Spain in the 2002 World Championships, the same injury that occured during the 2001-02 season while playing for Real Madrid in the Spanish League.

    OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
    Began his professional career with the Juventut Badalona Junior team in Spain in 1997-98 and also saw action with Festina Juventut, the Badalona associated team… Was selected as a member of the Spanish Junior National Team that won the 1998 Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Mannheim and the 1998 European Junior Championship…Made his debut with Juventut Badalona of the ACB League in 1998-99 and in 1999-2000 averaged 10.1 points, 2.8 assists and 1.6 rebounds…Signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid in 2000 and during the 2000-01 season, scored 7.0 points, 2.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds…Was named to the Spanish National team in 2000-01, which participated in the 2000 European Championships and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney…Also played for the Spanish National team in the 2001 European Championship in Turkey and helped lead the team to the Bronze Medal...Named to the Spanish National team that played in the World Championships in Indianapolis in August, did not play due to injury.
