Played in three games with the Pistons’ 2001 summer league team in Orlando (two starts), posting averages of 8.3 ppg and 5.0 rpg in 19.7 mpg....Connected on 11-of-21 (.524) shots from the field and 2-of-4 (.500) shots from the free-throw line....Also recorded two assists, two steals and one block....Scored a summer league-high 10 points (4-8 FG, 1-1 3FG, 1-4 FT) with five rebounds and two steals vs. Minnesota.
PRE-NBA:
Member of the Partizan Belgrade basketball club in Yugoslavia since he was 15 years old....Member of the Yugoslavian Junior National Team in 1996 and 1997, and a member of the Under 22 Yugoslavian National Team at the 1998 European Championships....Helped team to the 2000 Yugoslavian National Cup.
