Ranked #2 in the NBA in Blocks Per Game(2.73) and in Blocks(213.0) in 2001-02. Traded to the Dallas Mavericks during the 2001-02 season.

Scored in double figures 10 times and grabbed at least 10 rebounds three times (three double-doubles) ... Scored at least 20 points twice ... After 11 games, he led all rookies in rebounding (8.1 rpg) and ranked third in scoring (14.9 ppg) ... Shared high scoring honors ... Posted his first-career double-double with a season-high 24 points (10-18 FG, 3-4 3FG, 1-1 FT) and 12 rebounds vs. the Lakers on 2/10 ... Named First Team All-America by The Associated Press following his junior and senior seasons at Kansas ...
