Named Honorable Mention All-America by The Associated Press as a senior at the University of Hawaii. Collected more three-pointers made and attempted than any player in Hawaii history. Hit at least one three-pointer in 35 straight games. As a senior, also selected to All-WAC First Team (the first Hawaii player to earn the honor in consecutive seasons) and Verizon Academic All-America Third Team. Ranked third in conference and 36th in nation in scoring (20.3 ppg) and second in free throw percentage, three-pointers made per game (3.0, 34th in nation) and three-point percentage. Poured in 28 points in WAC Tournament title game win vs. Tulsa, earning MVP honors. Scored 26 points in NCAA Tournament opening round loss to Xavier.
As a junior, named to All-WAC First Team, WAC All-Tournament Team and All-District VIII Academic Team. Redshirted 1998-99 season after transferring from Alabama-Birmingham after his freshman year.
