Scored first career NBA field goal and pulled down first career rebound in first career game vs. Washington on 12/22. Scored in double figures in one game (10 vs. Sacramento on 1/21). Led team in rebounding in two games (eight at Utah on 2/3 and 14 vs. San Antonio on 4/18)...Missed 25 games with a sprained right ankle. Did not play due to coach's decision in 27 games. PRE-NBA: Played the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons with DJK Wurzburg in Germany. Played one professional season for Dynamo Moscow in Russia and was named Second Team All-Star in 1997-98. Played for Ebun Comets in the Premier League in Nigeria as a 15-year-old and was chosen Player of the Year. Member of Nigerian National Team that finished second to Angela in the Olympic qualifying tournament in 1999.
