Finished second on the club in minutes played, field goal percentage (.526, 15th in the NBA) and steals (1.42 per game) and was third in scoring and assists... Had 12 games of 20 or more points, including a career-high 35 points as well as 12 rebounds in the season finale against Philadelphia on April 21... His 51 minutes played in that 109-105 overtime loss set a franchise record, and his eight offensive rebounds matched another franchise mark... Also had nine assists, four steals and three blocks in that game... Reached double figures in rebounds on 21 occasions and blocked at least five shots five times... One of only five players in the league to record at least 100 points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks (the others were Olajuwon, Horry, D. Robinson and Weatherspoon)...     A restricted free agent, Miller signed an offer sheet with the Detroit Pistons on Sept. 6... Forced to sit out two stints midway through the season as a result of a fractured metacarpal bone in his right hand that required surgery... Returned from the injury in late January... In his last 31 games, he averaged 9.6 points and 8.2 rebounds while shooting .573 from the field... Grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds against the Atlanta Hawks on 3/3... Hit for a season-high 21 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on 3/15... Appeared in 64 games for the Pistons, starting 22, and averaged 8.4 points and 7.4 rebounds... His .555 field-goal percentage trailed teammate Mark West's team-best number by a single percentage point... Finished with 116 blocked shots to rank 10th in the league at 1.81 rejections per game.

    1993-94
    Shot a gaudy .609 from the floor with the Phoenix Suns... Did not, however, make enough shots to qualify for the NBA rankings... Had he made the minimum 300 field goals (he had 277), he would have eclipsed Shaquille O'Neal (.599) as the league leader in shooting accuracy... Ranked eighth in shotblocking (2.26 per game), despite his 6-foot-9 frame and despite the fact that he played only 25.9 minutes per game... Split the starting center duties with Mark West and appeared in 69 contests overall, spending nine games on the Injured List with a bulging disk in his back... For the season, averaged 9.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists... Named NBA Player of the Week for the week ending 1/2, after averaging 24.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.00 blocks as a starter in two Suns victories.

    1992-93
    Stepped into a significant role with the Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns in his rookie season... Despite missing 25 games due to right knee and right foot injuries, Miller cracked the Suns' regular rotation and helped Phoenix amass a 62-20 regular-season mark and a berth in the 1993 NBA Finals... Swatted a season-high 7 shots against the Seattle SuperSonics on 4/16 and grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds against the Indiana Pacers on 4/4... Tallied 15 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks against the Milwaukee Bucks on 12/6... Ranked 15th in the NBA in blocked shots and third among rookies, with 100... Also averaged 5.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists... Shot .564 from the field and averaging 7.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.46 blocks in the postseason... In the decisive Game 5 of a first-round series with the Los Angeles Lakers, Miller blocked 7 shots, a Suns playoff record... Recorded 21 blocked shots in a six-game series versus the San Antonio Spurs.

    College
    The 6-foot-9 center completed his playing days at the University of Arkansas as the school's all-time leader in blocked shots (345) and field-goal percentage (.636)... Also ranked second in career rebounds (886), sixth in assists (296), and seventh in scoring (1,674)... The Suns selected Miller with the 22nd overall pick in the 1992 NBA Draft.
