2008-09: Second NBA season (Washington). Appeared in all 82 games with five starts, averaging 10.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 22.4 minutes per game while shooting 44.4% from the floor, 34.1% from 3-point range and 85.0% from the line. Scored 20+ points 12 times, including 30+ twice in back-to-back games vs. Milwaukee on 1/12/09 and at New York on 1/14/09.

2007-08: Rookie NBA season (Washington). In 75 games with two starts, averaged 7.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per game while shooting 43.9% from the floor, 40.0% from 3-point range and 81.5% from the line. Missed two games with a right thigh contusion on 3/21/08 and 3/23/08.

PLAYOFFS: In 15 games, averaging 6.4 points and 0.9 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game while shooting 39.5% from the floor, 48.6% from 3-point range and 86.4% from the line. 2008: Appeared in four of Washington's First Round games vs. Cleveland, averaging 1.3 points in 4.3 minutes per game while shooting 11.1% from the floor, 0-of-2 from 3-point range and 75.0% from the line. 2012: Saw action in all 11 games of the L.A. Clippers' run to the Western Conference Semifinals, averaging 8.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game. Shot 43.3% from the floor, 51.5% from 3-point range and 88.9% from the line. Had 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting in just 24 minutes of play in Game 1 at Memphis on 4/29/12.

COLLEGE:
Early entry candidate for the 2007 NBA Draft following his junior season at USC. Earned First Team All-Pac-10 honors his sophomore and junior seasons at USC. As a junior, ranked second in the conference in scoring (17.5 ppg), fifth in field goal percentage (52.5% FGs) and second in 3-point percentage (44.0% 3FGs).

PERSONAL:
Son of Charles and Mae Young. While with Washington, started the Nick Young Foundation with hopes of putting an end to gang violence and offering free psychiatric services to those who have been affected by it. Was the focus of a documentary titled "Second Chance Season," which portrayed his life story and path to the NBA.
