TRANSACTIONS:

Selected by Washington with the 16th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Re-signed with Washington on 12/18/11. Acquired by the L.A. Clippers as part of a three-team trade with Washington and Denver in which the Wizards also traded JaVale McGee and Ronny Turiaf to the Nuggets for Nene on 3/15/12; Washington also received Brian Cook and a future second round pick from L.A. Signed as a free-agent with Philadelphia on 7/12/12.

2012-13 NOTES/CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

• In 59 games with 17 starts, averaged 10.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23.9 minutes per game while shooting 41.3% from the floor, 35.7% from 3-point range and 82.0% from the line.
• Missed four games (12/1-12/8/12) with a left great toe hyperextension and seven games (3/2-3/11/13) with a left ankle sprain, recorded 12 DNP-CD's.
• Scored 20+ points eight times this past season, including a season-high 30 points vs. the L.A. Lakers on 12/16/12.

PLAYOFFS:

In 15 games, averaging 6.4 points and 0.9 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game while shooting 39.5% from the floor, 48.6% from 3-point range and 86.4% from the line. 2008: Appeared in four of Washington's First Round games vs. Cleveland, averaging 1.3 points in 4.3 minutes per game while shooting 11.1% from the floor, 0-of-2 from 3-point range and 75.0% from the line. 2012: Saw action in all 11 games of the L.A. Clippers' run to the Western Conference Semifinals, averaging 8.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game. Shot 43.3% from the floor, 51.5% from 3-point range and 88.9% from the line. Had 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting in just 24 minutes of play in Game 1 at Memphis on 4/29/12.


2011-12:
Five NBA season (Washington and L.A. Clippers): In 62 games with 35 starts, averaged 14.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 27.9 minutes per game while shooting 40.3% from the floor, 36.5% from 3-point range and 85.2% from the line… In 40 games with 32 starts for Washington, averaged 16.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 30.3 minutes per game while shooting 40.6% from the floor, 37.1% from 3-point range and 86.2% from the line. Acquired by the Clippers as part of a three-team trade on 3/15/12 and appeared in 22 games with three starts, averaging 9.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game while shooting 39.4% from the floor, 35.3% from 3-point range and 82.1% from the line.


2010-11:
Fourth NBA season (Washington). In 64 games with 40 starts, averaged career highs of 17.4 points and 2.7 rebounds along 1.2 assists in 31.8 minutes per game while shooting 44.1% from the floor, 38.7% from 3-point range and 81.6% from the line. Had the highest scoring increase in the NBA from 2009-10 to 2010-11 (+8.8 ppg). Scored 20+ points 30 times, including 30+ eight times. Scored a career-high 43 points vs. Sacramento on 1/11/11 while hitting 7 3-pointers. Missed 18 games due to injury/illness (right thigh contusion on 12/3/10, sore left knee on 2/16/11, flu-like symptoms on 3/5/11, bruised left knee from 3/15-3/23 and 3/28-4/13).


2009-10:
Third NBA season (Washington). In 74 games with 23 starts, averaged 8.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game while shooting 41.8% from the floor, 40.6% from 3-point range and 80.0% from the line. Averaged 12.2 ppg as a starter… Ranked 16th in the NBA in 3-point percentage. Scored 20+ points 10 times.


2008-09:
Second NBA season (Washington). Appeared in all 82 games with five starts, averaging 10.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 22.4 minutes per game while shooting 44.4% from the floor, 34.1% from 3-point range and 85.0% from the line. Scored 20+ points 12 times, including 30+ twice in back-to-back games vs. Milwaukee on 1/12/09 and at New York on 1/14/09.


2007-08:
Rookie NBA season (Washington). In 75 games with two starts, averaged 7.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per game while shooting 43.9% from the floor, 40.0% from 3-point range and 81.5% from the line. Missed two games with a right thigh contusion on 3/21/08 and 3/23/08.




COLLEGE CAREER:

Early entry candidate for the 2007 NBA Draft following his junior season at USC. Earned First Team All-Pac-10 honors his sophomore and junior seasons at USC. As a junior, ranked second in the conference in scoring (17.5 ppg), fifth in field goal percentage (52.5% FGs) and second in 3-point percentage (44.0% 3FGs).




OFF THE COURT:

Son of Charles and Mae Young. While with Washington, started the Nick Young Foundation with hopes of putting an end to gang violence and offering free psychiatric services to those who have been affected by it. Was the focus of a documentary titled "Second Chance Season," which portrayed his life story and path to the NBA.
