Mirza is an only child... When he is not on the basketball court he enjoys fishing and spending time with his family, which is very important to him... The one super power Mirza would like to have would be the ability to cure cancer... His favorite movies are the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy... Mirza's favorite place to visit is Spain... If he were to have a career outside of playing basketball he would like to help the children in his native Bosnia... Mirza was named the 2009 Spanish Cup Finals MVP... He won the 2007-08 and 2009-10 Spanish National Championship with Baskonia Vitoria... Hosted 75 children for ‘Fit Camp’ at Joseph Miccio Community Center in Brooklyn featuring Boot Camp, Step Aerobics, and Capoeira as part of Brooklyn Nets Assist… Participated, with 50 youngsters, ages 8-14 in an introduction to volleyball clinic at the Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA in Brooklyn as part of Brooklyn Nets Assist. |
