including three starts...averaged 1.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.9
minutes...shot .455 (25-55) from the floor and .750 (6-8) from the
line...made his Spurs debut on Dec. 15 versus Denver with four points, three
rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 10 minutes...established season-highs
in points (12), rebounds (5) and minutes (22) on April 13 at
Memphis...scored eight points and tied a career-high with four assists in 21
minutes versus Phoenix on April 16...inserted into the starting line-up for
the final three games of the regular season, averaging 8.3 points and 4.3
rebounds in 20.0 minutes...started the season on the injured list due to a
strained right hamstring and missed 23 games...logged 10 or more minutes on

one start...averaged 1.1 points and 1.2 rebounds in 5.6 minutes...had a
season-high six points in a season-best 17 minutes versus Minnesota on April
18...earned his only start and had three boards in six minutes at Milwaukee
on Jan. 11...2001 PLAYOFFS...played in four games of Dallas' first round
loss to Utah, scoring just one basket.
1999-2000:
Twelfth NBA season (Cleveland)...appeared in 75 games, averaging
5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 22.8 minutes...earned 50 starts (all in the
final 55 games of the season)...shot .503 from the field and a career-best
.809 from the line...scored in double-figures 14 times...logged a single
season career-best 1,712 minutes...had a season-high 18 points (including 10
in the fourth quarter) and a season-best 11 rebounds at Sacramento on Jan.
16...led the team in rebounds seven times...finished with seven points and
eight rebounds in a career-high 40 minutes at Chicago on March 2...missed

contest...his 5.2 rebounds per game tied his career best average for a
single season...shot .483 from the field and .645 from the line...scored a
season-best 25 points versus Vancouver on April 4...scored in double-figures
21 times and led the team in scoring five times...had 18 points and six
rebounds at Boston on March 21...finished with 16 points four times: at
Charlotte (3/24), versus Milwaukee (2/23), at Atlanta (2/22) and versus
Atlanta (2/9)...grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds versus New York on Feb.
11...hit a game-winning 10-foot jumper with 2.3 seconds left to give the

1997-98:
Tenth NBA season (Phoenix)...appeared in 70 games, averaging 4.2
points and 3.5 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per contest...shot .484 from the
field and .768 from the line...earned 22 starts, including 21 of 22 games
from Jan. 16 to Feb. 27...scored in double-figures seven times, with a
season-high 11 points at the Clippers on Feb. 27...grabbed a season-best 12
rebounds at Charlotte on Jan. 27 and versus Philadelphia on Feb. 24...1998
PLAYOFFS...played big in the Suns' four-game first round playoff series
versus the Spurs...in the series averaged career playoff bests of 10.0
points and 5.8 rebounds while adding 1.0 steals in 23.3 minutes...shot .500

1996-97:
Ninth NBA season (Phoenix)...averaged a career-best 9.3 points and
a career-high 5.2 rebounds in 24.8 minutes per game...shot .553 from the
field and .704 from the line...led the Suns in field goal
percentage...appeared in 41 games, starting 18 times...scored in
double-figures 17 times, with a season-high 24 points at Boston on Jan.
5...had 20 points and a season-high 12 rebounds at Minnesota on Feb. 16...
missed the first 16 games of the season while recovering from surgery to
repair torn cartilage in his right knee...then missed the final month of the
season due to a stress reaction of the third metatarsal in his right
foot...1997 PLAYOFFS...in four playoff games versus Seattle in the first
round, averaged 2.8 points and 1.0 rebounds.
1995-96:
Eighth NBA season (Houston)...in his only season with the Rockets,
averaged 8.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 22.4 minutes...earned nine starts
(in place of an injured Hakeem Olajuwon) in 71 games...shot .543 from the
field and .718 from the line...posted single-season career-highs in total
points (611), field goals made (242) and attempted (446) as well as free
throws made (127) and attempted (177)...scored in double-figures 28 times,
with 20 or more three times...scored a career-best 30 points at Dallas on
March 30...led the team in field goal percentage...finished the season
strong, averaging 13.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in the final 21 games...1996
PLAYOFFS...saw action in eight games...helped top the Lakers in Houston's
first round win before falling to eventual Western Conference Champion
Seattle in the semifinals...averaged 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds, including

season with the Blazers...averaged 5.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.4

season-high 18 points in a season-best 31 minutes versus the Clippers on
Dec. 14...had 10 points and a season-best 10 boards versus Indiana on Nov.
27...scored in double-figures seven times...1995 PLAYOFFS...played in two
games in Portland's first round loss to Phoenix.
1993-94:
Sixth NBA season (Portland)...averaged 5.6 points and 4.0 rebounds

1991-92:
Fourth NBA season (Portland)...averaged 4.1 points and 3.6 rebounds

line...scored a season-high 18 points at Denver on March 4...grabbed a
season-best 10 boards at Boston on March 15...1992 PLAYOFFS...had 10 points
and five boards in 21 minutes in Game One of the NBA Finals at Chicago on
June 3...played in 12 games, averaging 1.9 points and 2.4 rebounds.
1990-91:
Third NBA season (Portland)...missed 27 games after suffering a
fractured fifth metatarsal of his right foot at the Lakers on Feb. 17...for
the season appeared in 53 games, averaging 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in
14.7 minutes...shot .488 from the field and .733 from the line...in 20 games
prior to his injury averaged 7.0 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting .551
from the field...scored a season-high 20 points in 31 minutes versus
Minnesota on Jan. 15...had a double-double at Houston on Jan. 8, finishing
with 11 points and 12 boards...1991 PLAYOFFS...played in 14 games, helping
Portland to the Western Conference Finals... scored a series high seven
points at the Lakers on May 26...averaged 2.4 points and 2.3 rebounds.
1989-1990:
Second NBA season (Portland)...averaged 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds
in 9.7 minutes in 58 games...shot .458 from the field and .560 from the
line...scored a season-best 12 points twice: at Sacramento (1/6) and versus
the Lakers (4/22)...grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds in 27 minutes versus
Utah (1/5)...registered 18 DNP-CDs...missed five games after his mother and
aunt were killed in a car accident on Feb. 21...1990 PLAYOFFS...saw action
in 13 games, including two games of the NBA Finals versus Detroit...averaged
3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in the playoffs...scored a playoff season-high
eight points at Dallas on May 1...had seven rebounds at Phoenix (5/25) to go

1988-1989:
Rookie NBA season (Portland)...became the first Portland rookie to
start opening night since Mychal Thompson in 1978...started 32 of the team's
first 34 games...for the season appeared in 56 games, averaging 5.0 points
and 3.2 rebounds in 14.3 minutes per contest...shot .486 from the field and
.580 from the line...scored in double-figures nine times, with a season-best
17 points at Atlanta on Dec. 3...suffered a broken left thumb on April 7
versus Boston and missed the remainder of the regular season and all of the
1989 Playoffs.
COLLEGE:
As a senior named to the First Team All-Big East after
averaging 20.5 points and 9.1 rebounds in 34 games for Seton Hall...had
career-highs of 38 points and 18 rebounds vs. Villanova...led the Pirates to
their first ever NCAA Tournament berth...earned Second Team All-Big East
honors as a junior...in his collegiate career appeared in 118 games,
averaging 16.2 points and 7.7 boards in 31.1 minutes per contest...posted
career marks of .521 from the field and .705 from the line...a member of the
U.S. Team in the 1987 World University Games...his brother, Spencer, played
at Seton Hall from 1983-85.
