Background

Kwame Brown made history as the first high school player ever selected with the first overall pick in the NBA Draft. Along with other fellow high-schoolers selected in the 2001 NBA Draft, he did not flourish in his rookie season but appears to be prepared for a break-out second season. Athough young, has a well-developed body and a maturity beyond his years and that with his range of skills should allow him make a mark on the NBA before it is all said and done.

2003-04:
Led the Wizards in rebounding (7.4 rpg)...Set new career-highs with 30 points and 19 rebounds versus Sacramento on 3/17/04 en route to his 18th double-double of the season...Grabbed 15 rebounds vs. Orlando on 01/28/04...Tied a career-high by dishing five assists versus Portland on 01/26/04...Scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds versus Indiana on 01/24/04...Hit his first career three-pointer with .4 second left in the first half against Dallas on 11/5/03.
