2013-14 SEASON:
Wrapped up his first season with the Wolves (10th in the NBA) by starting 68 games... Sidelined for seven games (Feb. 8-25) due to a fractured left thumb and sat out five (Apr. 4-11) with a sore right foot... Ranked 22nd in the NBA in scoring (19.1 ppg) and 4th in FT accuracy (89.1%); the latter is the second-best percentage of his career and the fifth-highest single-season mark in franchise history... Also averaged 3.0 rpg and 1.8 apg in 32.0 mpg while shooting 43.0% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range (35th in the NBA)... 2012-13: In his first season in Oklahoma City, appeared in 77 games and averaged 14.0 points (ranked 5th in the NBA among reserves), 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 27.7 minutes... Ranked 4th in the NBA in free throw shooting accuracy (89.0%; 216-243 FT)… Scored 20-plus points on 10 occasions (including three straight games from Nov. 16–21)… OKC went 9-1 when Martin scored 20-plus points… Ranked 10th in the NBA in 3-point shooting accuracy (42.6%; 158-371 3FG)… Recorded a 3-point field goal in all but 10 games… Posted a game-high 28 points (19 points in the second qtr) on 8-of-11 shooting on vs. Atlanta (Nov. 4), including six three point makes (one shy of the OKC era record)… Recorded six made 3-point FGs after posting a game-high-tying 27 points during win at New Orleans (Nov. 16)…

2011-12: In his third season with Houston, averaged a teamhigh 17.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 40 games (40 starts). Ranked tied for fourth in the NBA in free throw percentage (career-best .894, 160-179 FT). Registered a team-best 16 20-plus point outings, including four 30-point games. Led (or tied) the Rockets in scoring 16 times. Registered five 20-point halves, including a season-best 27 first- half points (10-14 FG, 5-8 3FG, 2-2 FT) vs. New Orleans (1/19/12). Recorded a season-best six consecutive 20-plus point games (1/19/12- 2/1/12), averaging 29.2 points (.496, 63-127 FG) and going 26-of-57 (.456) from 3-point range over that timeframe. Placed on the inactive list for two games (1/27/12-1/28/12) due to inflammation in his right heel. DND for 17 games (and NWT one game (3/27/12) due to a strained right shoulder.

2010-11: In his second season with the Rockets, averaged a teamhigh 23.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.00 steals in 80 games (80 starts). Became the first player in Rockets history to reach 1,800 points (career- high 1,876), make 500 or more free throws (career- high 594) and hit at least 100 3-pointers (career-high 176) in a single season. One of three Rockets players (all-time) to finish in the NBA top-10 of at least four major statistical categories, ranking tied for first in the NBA in free throws made (career-high 594), third in 3-point field goals made (career-high 176), eighth in free throw percentage (.888) and ninth in points per game (23.5). Reached the 40-point mark twice and finished with a single-season, career-high 20 30-plus point outings. Totaled a singleseason, career-best 57 20-point performances.

2009-10: Averaged a combined 20.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.00 steals in 46 games (43 starts) with Sacramento and Houston. Underwent surgery to repair a non-displaced hairline fracture of the navicular bone in his left wrist (11/9/09) and missed 32 games due to that injury, which he suffered vs. Memphis (11/2/09). Acquired by Houston from Sacramento in a three-team trade on Feb. 18. Averaged 21.3 points (.924, 171-185 FT), 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.96 steals in 24 games (22 starts) with the Rockets . Overall, recorded 25 20-point performances and seven games of 30 or more points. Ranked 10th in the league in free throw percentage (.876, 298-340 FT).

2008-09: Led Sacramento with a career-high 24.6 points per game (.420, 341-811 FG) in 51 games (46 starts). Missed a total of 30 contests with an injured left ankle (11/11/08-11/29/08; 12/9/09-12/28/08). Ranked ninth in the NBA in free throws made (457) and attempted (527). Posted 20 or more points 37 times, recorded 30-plus points on 16 occasions, reached the 40-point plateau twice and notched one 50-point game. Registered a career-high 13 consecutive games with at least 20 points (12/30/08-1/24/09). Netted a career-high 50 points (11-22 FG, 5-11 3FG, 23-26 FT) at Golden State (4/1/09).

2007-08: Averaged a team-leading 23.7 points, 4.5 boards, 2.1 assists and 1.02 steals 61 games (57 starts) with the Kings. Missed 17 games after suffering a strained groin vs. Utah (12/7/07). Finished sixth in the NBA in scoring, joining Corey Maggette and Dwight Howard as the only players to average at least 20.0 points per game while attempting 15 or fewer shots per contest. Led the league in average free throws made per game (8.2). Set a Sacramento-era, single-season record with 502 free throws made.

2006-07: Finished second in voting for the 2006-07 NBA Most Improved Player after averaging a team-high 20.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a career-high 1.23 steals in 80 games (80 starts) with Sacramento. Made 39 consecutive free throws (11/3/06-11/15/06).

2005-06: Averaged 10.8 points (.847, 188-222 FT), 3.6 rebounds and 0.76 steals in 72 games (41 starts) with the Kings. Posted averages of 13.7 points, 4.7 boards, 1.8 assists and 33.7 minutes in 41 games as a starter. Made 37 consecutive free throws (2/3/06-2/15/06).

2004-05: Averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 45 games off the bench as a rookie with Sacramento.

Selected in the first round (26th overall pick) by the Sacramento Kings in the 2004 NBA Draft ... Traded from Sacramento to Houston as part of a three-team trade on February 18, 2010 ... Traded by Houston with Jeremy Lamb, a 2013 1st round draft pick, a future 1st round draft pick and a future 2nd round draft pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook, James Harden and Lazar Hayward on October 27, 2012 ... Traded to Minnesota as part of the three-team seal with Oklahoma City and Milwaukee on July 11, 2013

Averaged 23.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.70 steals in 79 games (77 starts) over three seasons at Western Carolina. Became the first Western Carolina athlete selected in the first round of any professional draft. Ranked fourth all-time on the Catamount’s scoring list with 1,838 points and stood as the school’s all-time leading scorer since the program moved to Division I in 1976-77. Ranked fourth all-time in 3-point field goals made (174), second in career free throw percentage (.841, 534-635 FT) and third in free throws made (534). Earned First-Team All-Southern Conference honors in three consecutive seasons (2001-02 to 2003-04).

Nickname is “K-Mart.” Majored in sports management at Western Carolina. Favorite player growing up was Michael Jordan. Finished fourth in the Ohio “Mr. Basketball” balloting after his senior season at Zanesville High School in 2000-01.
