COLLEGE:
At Iowa State, Cato recorded 189 blocks in 55 games for a 3.44 bpg average, setting the ISU career record in just two seasons after transferring from South Alabama. As a senior, Cato was named Third Team All-Big 12 Conference after he ranked third on the team in scoring (11.3 ppg), first in rebounding (8.4 rpg) and blocks (4.21 bpg, fifth in NCAA Division I) and second in FG percentage (.547). He set the ISU single-season blocked shots record with 118, including an ISU single-game record 11 blocked shots against Texas-Pan American.
