2013-14 SEASON:

Split the season between VEF Riga (Latvia) of the VTB United League and Cibona (Croatia) of the Adriatic League…appeared in 16 regular season games for Cibona and averaged 8.1 points (.621 FG%), 5.6 rebounds and 16.9 minutes…appeared in five EuroCup games for Cibona and averaged 7.8 points (.560 FG%), 3.4 rebounds and 16.6 minutes…appeared in nine games for VEF Riga and averaged 16.2 points (.596 FG%, .824 FT%), 7.9 rebounds and 21.6 minutes.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
Selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round (45th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft… draft rights were traded from Philadelphia to the Miami HEAT along with a future conditional first-round pick in exchange for the draft rights to Arnett Moultrie (27th overall selection in the 2012 NBA Draft) on June 28, 2012…signed by the HEAT on Sept. 10, 2013...Waived by the Miami Heat on October 26, 2013... Full name is Justin Anthony Hamilton…nickname is “Big Ham”…graduated from LSU with a degree in sociology…is the son of Larry and Tamara Hamilton… has two brothers (Jared Hamilton and Jordan Hamilton) and one sister (Ashley Penrod)…his father was a twosport star at Brigham Young in football and wrestling and was a starter at defensive tackle on BYU’s 1984 national championship team…his mother was a twotime All-Conference volleyball player at BYU and holds the NCAA record for most assists in a single-season with 2,026 in 1986…his brother Jared played football at Yale (2004-08) and his brother Jordan plays basketball at Westminster College (2010-present)…his sister played volleyball at Eastern Washington University (2006-10) and his brother-in-law Geoff Penrod was a member of the track team at Eastern Washington (2004- 08)…loves spending time in the outdoors hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, camping, skateboarding and snowboarding…would like to get into coaching when his playing career is over…says something most people don’t know about him is that he has Croatian citizenship…his mother is Croatian and he’s half Croation…his most prized possessions are his two state championship rings…led Long Peak High School to a 23-2 record and the Class 5A state title his senior year… was voted as the state of Utah’s most improved player in 2007-08…wears size 18 sneakers.
