2006-07 SEASON:
Split the season between the Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA and the Fort Worth Flyers of the NBA Development League…came off the bench in each of the six NBA games in which he appeared and averaged 1.3 points (.500 FG%), 0.3 rebounds and 3.3 minutes…was a healthy scratch on the inactive list on four occasions (all with Atlanta) and was a DNP-CD four times (twice with Atlanta and twice with Portland)…in his five games with Atlanta he averaged 1.6 points (.500 FG%), 0.4 rebounds and 3.8 minutes…was scoreless in one minute in his lone Portland appearance (Mar. 11 vs. Golden State)…did not attempt a free throw in his six games…made his NBA debut with the Hawks against Golden State on Jan. 31 and tallied five points, one rebound and one steal in 7:42 of action…was a Gatorade All NBA Development League Second Team selection after averaging 17.4 points (.452 FG%, .817 FT%), 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.82 steals and 30.9 minutes in 34 regular season games (32 starts) with Fort Worth in the NBA D-League…finished 13th in the D-League in scoring average…scored in double figures in each of his first 33 D-League games before being held to eight points in the regular season finale against Sioux Falls on Apr. 14…scored at least 20 points on 12 occasions and had a pair of 30-point performances…scored a season-high 31 points at Albuquerque on Jan. 13 while also recording season highs in field goals made (12) and rebounds (6)…started in his D-League debut at Austin on Nov. 25 and tallied 14 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 38 minutes…had 18 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes in Fort Worth’s one-game playoff loss to Sioux Falls on Apr. 17…NBA Season Highs: five points (vs. Golden State, Jan. 31), one rebound (twice), one steal (vs. Golden State, Jan. 31) and 7:42 minutes (vs. Golden State, Jan. 31).

Full name is Jeremy Terrell Richardson…nicknames are “Slim” and “J Rich”…was raised by his grandparents, John and Sarah Richardson after his mother, Lisa Richardson, past away when he was 11…has a younger brother (Courtland George) and a younger sister (Jerelyn Davis)…credits his grandparents as the people who had the biggest impact on his life, stating he admires them for raising him after his mother passed away and teaching him right from wrong, he claims he wouldn’t have made it as far as he has today without their support…says something that most people don’t know about him is that he loves helping others and seeing the smile on their face after he has helped them out…majored in sports management at Delta State University…choose his major because when he was in junior college and majoring in physical education he decided he wanted to get involved with the business side of the sports world…when he is done playing we wants to do some coaching and help teach players the game of basketball although he isn’t looking to be a head coach…would also like to get in the real estate business after his playing career is concluded…in his free time he likes to watch movies, listen to music, spend time with family and friends and work on his basketball game…lists Friday, Collateral and He Got Game among his favorite movies and Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show and BET’s 106 & Park among his favorite TV shows…is a fan of rap music and enjoys listening to Lil Boosie, an artist from his hometown who has made it big in the music industry…his favorite sport other than basketball is football and lists the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints as his favorite teams…his favorite type of food is seafood and his favorite restaurant is Pappadeaux’s in Houston, TX…does not have a dream vacation spot, but looks forward to traveling all around the world with loved ones…says the best place he has visited to date is Miami and really likes the ocean, beaches and whole atmosphere…doesn’t have any set game-day rituals other than to make sure he prays before each game…has several tattoos, the most significant one’s are a tattoo about his mom, who he misses a lot, which features a cross with her name around it with her birth date and the day of her passing and the other one is the Bible verse Deuteronomy 31:6 which he says helps him get through a lot of situations he might face…wears a size 13 shoe.
