With increased playing time, Caffey became a significant contributor for the Bulls as they successfully defended their NBA Championship, especially in light of Dennis Rodman's frequent absences due to injury or suspension...Caffey played in 75 games during the regular season and started 19 of them, including the last 13...Caffey averaged 7.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game to rank sixth on the team in both categories, even though he only played 18.7 minutes per game...He shot a solid .532 from the field and went to the foul line 211 times, the third-most on the club...Caffey scored in double figures in 28 games and three times reached double figures in rebounds. He tallied a career-high 23 points, on 11-of-13 shooting from the field, in a 114-96 victory over the Clippers on Dec. 5, and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds(with 14 points) in an 86-80 victory over the Indiana Pacers on April 9...He appeared in 17 of the Bulls' 19 playoff games, making five starts, and averaged 2.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per game...His best outing came in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, when he registered 10 points and 11 rebounds in a 100-80 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

1995-96:
Caffey spent most of his rookie season watching from the bench for the Bulls. ..He appeared in 57 games but played a total of just 545 minutes and finished the year with averages of 3.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game...Caffey scored a season-high 13 points against Cleveland on Nov. 15 and twice grabbed eight rebounds...He also made three trips to the injured list as Chicago shuffled its roster...He was on the injured list Dec. 6-18, March 16-28 and April 14-end of season...He was not on Chicago's playoff roster as the team elected to go with more experienced frontcourtmen like James Edwards and John Salley.

COLLEGE:
Caffey finished his college career ranked 19th on the all-time Crimson Tide scoring list (1,239 points) and 13th in rebounding (751)...In 1994-95 he teamed with fellow seniors Antonio McDyess and Jamal Faulkner to form an ominous Alabama frontcourt that helped the team reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament...Caffey broke a bone in his foot prior to his senior season, missed two games and came off the bench in five others...But he still scored in double figures in 23 of 31 games and posted nine double-doubles, bringing his career total 23... Prior to the 1995 NBA Draft, the powerful 6-8 forward impressed scouts with his play at both the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (13.3 ppg, 11.7 rpg) and the Nike Desert Classic (12.7 ppg, 7.7 rpg)...
