Averaged 3.7 ppg and 9.3 rpg in 24.8 mpg in six games played. Had surgery on 10/9/00 involving debridement of left Achilles tendon and was placed on the injured list on 10/30. Was activated from the injured list on 2/8 after missing the first 50 games of the season. Played in six games before re-aggravating his Achilles, causing him to miss the remaining 26 games (2/24-4/17) with a sore left Achilles. Grabbed a team-high nine rebounds in 22 minutes in his first game of the season vs. San Antonio on 2/8. Pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds and scored four points vs. L.A. Lakers on 2/13. Scored nine points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds at Detroit on 2/14. Had six points and nine boards at New York on 2/16.

Feick began his pro career with the Oklahoma City Cavalry of the CBA, where he played in 13 games and averaged 10.7 points and 10.8 rebounds...He signed the first of two 10-day contracts with the Charlotte Hornets on Jan. 6, but appeared in just three games, scoring five points and grabbing three rebounds before the contracts expired...He then signed the first of two 10-day contracts with the San Antonio Spurs, who needed help on their front line due to injuries, and finally signed with the Spurs for the remainder of the season on Feb. 20. He played in 38 games for the Spurs and averaged 3.8 points and a solid 5.6 rebounds in 16.2 minutes of action...Feick had five double-doubles, including three of the last eight games of the season, and led the Spurs in rebounding seven times. He scored a career-high 15 points with 10 rebounds in a 116-93 loss at Utah on April 7 and twice had a career-high 15 rebounds--in a 111-69 rout at the hands of Chicago on March 5 and in a 96-90 victory over Denver on April 8...He finished his rookie season having appeared in 41 games, all as a reserve. He averaged of 3.7 points and 5.2 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game.
