Full name is Hakim Hanif Warrick…son of Kenneth Nichols and Queen Warrick was born in Philadelphia, Pa.…majored in retail management and consumer studies at Syracuse, finishing his degree in three-and-a-half years…during 2011 offseason, organized a charity game along with college teammate Carmelo Anthony on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania...Warrick’s team was comprised of players with Philadelphia roots and included Markieff Morris, Marcus Morris, Kyle Lowry, John Salmons and Tyreke Evans; Melo’s team included Baltimore-based players...trained during the offseason in south New Jersey...while living in Memphis, did public service announcements for Memphis City Schools Reads and Memphis City Schools Fight Free Fifty, which encouraged students to go 50 days without fighting in school…lists “Coming to America” as his favorite movie and “Rudy” as his favorite sports movie…calls winning the NCAA title with Syracuse his greatest basketball accomplishment…favorite pregame meal is spaghetti. |
