Appeared in 70 games with 68 starts… Averaged 11.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.3 blocks in 30.7 minutes… Ranked ninth in the NBA in steals and 31st in blocks… Posted seven double-doubles… Scored in double figures 39 times, including seven 20-plus-point games, and had 10 double-figure rebounding games… Led the Bobcats in blocks 26 times, in steals 24 times, in scoring seven times and in rebounding six times… Recorded two or more steals in 39 of the 70 games he played… Scored a season-high 28 points at Utah on Feb. 1 and pulled down a season-high 14 rebounds at New York on Dec. 26 and against New York on April 16… Missed seven games in March due to bruised ribs suffered at Minnesota on March 8 and returned to average 18.0 points over the next five games.
2003-04:
Played in 37 games with one start in his third season with Sacramento… Of his 74 rebounds on the season, 35 were on the offensive end… His top game was in his only start of the season, when he tallied a season-best 16 points along with then-career bests of 11 rebounds and three blocks in season-high 34 minutes against Dallas on Dec. 25… Scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds (five offensive) in 30 minutes against Golden State on Nov. 16.
2002-03:
Had best season in Sacramento, averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and .492 shooting from the field in 47 appearances (seven starts)… Set then-career high of 21 points on 10-11 field goals and added four assists against Houston on Dec. 1 … Posted first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds on Oct. 31 against Portland.
2001-02:
As a rookie, played in 54 games and averaged 3.2 points and 1.6 rebounds for Sacramento… Finished second to Jason Richardson in the NBA.com Slam Dunk Contest presented by RealOne… Top game was a 20-point, nine-rebound performance against Memphis on Dec. 16, 2001… Tallied 14 points and five rebounds in his first career start against the Clippers on March 26… When Sacramento drafted him as a 19-year-old rookie, that selection made him the youngest player in Sacramento Kings-Royals history.
COLLEGE:
Played one collegiate season at Alabama before entering the NBA… Earned Southeastern Conference All-Freshman honors after averaging 9.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and team-high 1.2 steals… Scored in double figures 16 times with 20 or more points four times, including a career-high 27 points against Grambling State on Dec. 4, 2001… Grabbed 10-plus rebounds three times, with a career-best 17 rebounds against Wofford on Dec. 7, 2001.
