Despite only playing two seasons at Duke, Brand left his mark on the Blue Devil record books...His career field goal percentage mark of .621 is the highest ever for players with at least 300 made, and he ranks fifth with 113 career blocked shots...Despite missing 15 games as a freshman due to a broken left foot, he was still named honorable mention All-America by AP after averaging 13.4 ppg and a team-high 7.3 rpg...As a sophomore, he led Duke in scoring (17.7 ppg), rebounding (9.8 rpg) and blocked shots (86) and was the consensus National Player of the Year, as well as a unanimous First Team All-American selection by AP, the ACC Player of the Year and USA Basketball's Man of the Year.
