After playing three games with Denver in 1994-95, finally lasted a full season in the NBA in 1995-96 when was a significant contributor for the Houston Rockets ... Signed as a free agent on 9/25, Recasner earned a berth on the roster during training camp and by the second half of the season was a valuable member of the Rockets' regular rotation ... After sitting out 17 of Houston's first 34 games due to coach's decision, played in all but two games after 1/12 ... Did not play double minutes in any game until 12/21, when he logged 14 minutes, but once he moved into the starting lineup on 1/22, logged double minutes in 29 consecutive games and 38 or the final 42 ... Appeared in 63 games, making 27 starts, and averaged 6.9 points, 2.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game ... Ranked third on the rockets with 81 three-pointers and shot .424 from beyond the arc ...
