Attended his first sporting event at age 10 – a Detroit Pistons game
Has one son, Jaalen
Since joining the Bulls in 2001, Eddie has participated in the Bulls’ Read To Achieve program and attended the inaugural Running with the Bulls 8K Run
In December 2002, Eddie invited 20 needy children living in the United Center neighborhood to a Bulls home game and gave each child in attendance an enormous duffle bag filled with Bulls gear, a warm-up suit, portable CD player, toys, a hat, gloves and a jacket
He also made a large donation to the Bulls’ 2002 holiday food drive that neared 400 pounds of non-perishable items
Eddie has also volunteered his time to record Public Service Announcements for the Bulls’ community relations efforts, including the annual food drive
