His field goal percentage of .549 was the best among NBA rookies and the best ever by a Charlotte first-year player. Other highlights from Robinson's rookie season include: He netted 16 points in a 105-102 win at Boston on 4/16 ... Notched 14 points and 9 boards in a 102-96 loss to Philadelphia on 3/20 ... Scored 19 points in a 110-106 loss to Orlando on 12/23 ... Tallied 15 points in a 113-106 win over Golden State on 12/8 ... Posted 16 points (8-11 FG) in a 113-94 win in Vancouver on 12/3 ... Scored 14 points (6-10 FG) and grabbed 4 rebounds in a 103-100 loss in Boston on 11/5 ... Made his NBA debut against Orlando on 11/2.

    College:
    The 6-9 Robinson was a consensus Division II All-American and the Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Year in 1998-99. He scored 30 or more points nine times, 40 or more point four times and set a school record with 52 points in one game. He also averaged 9.5 rebounds per game. As a junior he averaged 14.8 points and 7.4 rebounds for Central Oklahoma. He played the 1995-96 season for Trinity Valley C.C. and the 1996-97 campaign for the Brown Mackie J.C., where he was a Division II JUCO All-American after averaging 22.7 ppg.

  • In December 2002, Eddie invited 20 needy children living in the United Center neighborhood to a Bulls home game and gave each child in attendance an enormous duffle bag filled with Bulls gear, a warm-up suit, portable CD player, toys, a hat, gloves and a jacket
  • He also made a large donation to the Bulls’ 2002 holiday food drive that neared 400 pounds of non-perishable items
  • Eddie has also volunteered his time to record Public Service Announcements for the Bulls’ community relations efforts, including the annual food drive
