On Aug. 30, 2010, signed by the Suns after being released by Toronto following a trade (with Leandro Barbosa) for Hedo Turkoglu… Signed by the Suns on April 5, 2010, to a contract for the remainder of the season... Appeared in two games with the Suns, the team’s final two regular-season contests... Became the 34th GATORADE Call-Up in the NBA that season after spending the regular season with the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League…2010 D-League All-Star…In his fourth season in the D-League and first full season with Austin, led the league with 16 rebounds, 4.1 boards more than the nearest player…Averaged 17.6 points (18th) and 1.8 blocks (6th) in 40 minutes in 48 games… Shot 59.8 percent from the field (3rd)… Tallied a league-best 43 double-doubles, 15 more than the nearest player… Scored 20 or more points 20 times and registered 44 double-digit rebounding efforts… Had 10 rebounding efforts of 20 or more, including three-straight from December 15-26… Grabbed D-League season-high 27 rebounds at Bakersfield on March 20… Scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 21 minutes in the 2010 D-League All-Star Game in Dallas.

Played in four games…averaged 0.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in 4.5 minutes per game…scored a season-high three points on 3-4 from the free throw line vs. Golden State on Jan. 30…grabbed a season-high three rebounds in just three minutes vs. Sacramento on March 13…assigned to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the D-League on March 23…played in two games with the Thunderbirds and averaged 11.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game…posted eight points, 10 rebounds and a league-high eight blocks against Idaho on March 24…recalled from the Thunderbirds on March 27…was placed on the Inactive List for 73 games and was a DNP-CD on five occasions.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
Played in 14 games for the Boston Celtics during the 2005-06 season…averaged 1.0 point and 2.2 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game…scored a career-high seven points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 29 minutes vs. Miami on April 19…grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in 30 minutes against Cleveland on April 17…made his NBA debut with three points and four rebounds on Feb. 10 vs. Portland…played in 26 games for the Florida Flame in the D-League…led the D-League in rebounds per game (11.7) and offensive rebounds per game (4.5) and ranked second in blocks per game (2.00) to go along with 8.9 points in 31.1 minutes per game…acquired by the Celtics from the Minnesota Timberwolves on Jan. 27, 2006 along with Michael Olowokandi, Wally Szczerbiak and a future first-round draft choice in exchange for Marcus Banks, Mark Blount, Ricky Davis, Justin Reed and two future conditional second-round draft choices…assigned to the Flame on Nov. 4, 2005 by the Minnesota Timberwolves…signed as a free agent by the Timberwolves on August 26, 2005.
COLLEGE CAREER:
An early entry candidate for the 2005 NBA Draft…played in 98 career games at St. Joseph’s and averaged 7.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in three seasons…named Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All Conference as a junior…named Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team his junior and sophomore seasons…led the conference in blocks in all three seasons…ranks second all-time in school history in blocked shots (232)…as a junior, averaged 10.1 points, 11.6 rebounds (fifth in the nation) and 3.0 blocks per game…posted 19 double-doubles….as a sophomore, led the A-10 in blocks per game (2.0) and ranked 10th in rebounding (7.0).
