In his rookie NBA season, averaged 2.2 ppg, .9 apg, .8 rpg, 32% FG, 8.2 mpg in 33 games -- the most games played for a Suns rookie since 2003-04 (Zarko Cabarkapa – 49)... Racked up a season-high seven boards and seven assists vs. Portland on April 16... Scored a season-high nine points vs. New Orleans on February 6... Averaged 31.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in five games with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the D-League… On January 7, was named the D-League.com Performer of the Week.

Selected by the Suns in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft, the guard tested as the best athlete at the Orlando Pre-Draft camp.

Blossomed in his senior season at Maryland, posting career bests in scoring (14.9), rebounding (4.4) and steals (2.03) in 34 games played, and earned All-ACC Second Team and ACC Defensive Team honors.

Was the 45th Terp in history to reach 1,000 career points.

Surpassed the 200-steal mark against Davidson during the NCAA Tournament.

  • Served as a bat boy for the New York Yankees, while his father was on the roster.
  • Matched up against the Cavaliers’ LeBron James in high school, limiting the future All-Star to 33-percent shooting (0-8 from the outside) and forcing seven turnovers on the night.
  • Was a communications major at Maryland.
  • Traveled to China to play in Steve Nash and Yao Ming’s charity basketball game in September 2007, just two months after participating in the two-time NBA MVP’s annual fundraiser in Vancouver.
