  • David and Valerie created the David Robinson Foundation in November of 1992
  • The Foundation is a Christian organization whose mission is to support programs which address the physical and spiritual needs of the family
  • David and Valerie have donated $9 million to help create the Carver Academy, an independent school designed to serve pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students who live primarily on the eastside of San Antonio … the school - which will eventually accommodate up to 290 children - opened on 9/17/01 with 60 students (in pre-k through second grade)
