Fortson finished his three years at Cincinnati with 1,881 points, second in school history behind Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson's 2,973 career points...He also ranks second all-time in school history (behind Robertson) in career free throws (571) and attempts (768)...Fortson was the Conference USA Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior and earned First Team All-Conference USA both years...During his 100-game career with the Bearcats, he scored 30 or more points 11 times, 20 or more points 42 times and had 35 career double-doubles...As a junior, he led the Bearcats in scoring (career-high 21.3 ppg), rebounding (9.1 rpg), FG percentage (.620) and minutes played (29.9 mpg).
