  • His father, Bob Ferry, spent close to 30 years in the NBA, first as a player with St. Louis, Detroit and Baltimore (from 1959-69) and then as the General Manager for the Washington Bullets (1973-90)
  • His brother, Bobby, played at Harvard and was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the seventh round of the 1985 NBA Draft
  • Enjoys playing golf
  • Lists The Sopranos as his favorite TV show
  • His high school coach at DeMatha, Morgan Wootten, was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in October of 2000
